Lawrence M. Richman, MD | Founder, Director

Lawrence is a double board-certified Attending Neurologist at one of the foremost medical institutions in the United States, ranked within the top five facilities by U.S. News and World Report Honor Roll, pursued research and training as a National Institutes of Health Fellow, and previously was a general surgical intern and resident at the Icahn School of Medicine – Mt. Sinai affiliated hospitals, Manhattan, New York. Dr. Richman initiated and shepherded the SureCount Surgical accountability system from its inception and is the Manager of SureCount Surgical, LLC.

Leo A. Gordon, MD

Dr. Leo Gordon is an award-winning clinical surgeon, medical educator, and author. He served as the Associate Director of Surgical Education at one of the foremost medical institutions in the United States and is on the editorial board of General Surgery News, the most widely read surgical publication in America. He has been an integral part of the teaching faculty for surgical residents, fellows, medical students, and pre-medical students. Dr. Gordon continues to implement novel solutions for patient safety.

David L. Finke, MD

Dr. Finke is a distinguished obstetrician, gynecologist, and managing partner of Women’s Care of Beverly Hills Medical Group. He is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been awarded the distinction in Los Angeles Magazine as “Super Doctor” and named Top Obstetrician-Gynecologist in California. He has been awarded Resident Scholar of the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetricians and designated with numerous other distinctions.

Charles N. Moon, MD

Dr. Charles N. Moon is a board certified highly acclaimed orthopedic surgeon with additional fellowship training in major orthopedic trauma. He pursued his general and trauma orthopedic training at Los Angeles County – University of Southern California Medical Center. Dr. Moon has additional training in pelvic and acetabular surgery at the Hospital of the Good Samaritan, a highly rated Keck-USC Affiliated hospital in Los Angeles. Dr. Moon is an Associate Professor and Director of Orthopedic Trauma including resident training at a top tier U. S. News and World Report rated medical center.

Allan Tulloch, MD

Allan Tulloch, MD, is a double board-certified vascular surgeon at one of the foremost medical centers in the United States, among the top five medical institutions achieving the U.S. News and World Report Honor Roll. After graduating from Harvard University Magna Cum Laude and Columbia University Medical School, he pursued a surgical and vascular surgery fellowship training at U.C.L.A. He serves as Clinical Chief and Associate Director in Vascular Surgery. Dr. Tulloch has been awarded the Barker Award in Vascular Surgery for Resident Teaching, the Longmire Research Presentation Award, and the Rochester Vascular Society for Vascular in 2010, 2nd Prize Vascular Poster Competition, in addition to many other awards and honors. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters, has presented at major vascular surgery conferences, and has extensive background research in vascular surgery.

Kenneth Sabbag, MD

Dr. Kenneth Sabbag is a double Board-Certified Orthopedic Hand Surgeon and Fellow of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and then pursued training at Harvard University’s Orthopedic Residency Program. He was an Attending Surgeon in the orthopedic trauma service at Massachusetts General Hospital. He then pursued hand surgical training at both U.C.L.A. Medical Center and a Trauma Hand Surgery Fellowship in Munich, Germany. He has undertaken research in hand surgery, provided visiting hospital lectures, and published several journal articles. He is on the staff of a hospital in Los Angeles that is highly ranked nationally by U.S. News and World Report.

Elizabeth Shoaf, DNP, MSN, RN, CNOR, CSSM

A registered nurse, Elizabeth, earned her degrees from Gardner-Webb University and Walden University. She has 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with professional skills including coordinating quality improvement initiatives, project management, supply chain improvement, utilization management, and staff development. Elizabeth was one of the first in the world to earn the CSSM certification, and she has been recognized as a “Great 100 Nurse” by North Carolina nurse peers and has served on the board of directors. She is a four-time published author in the AORN Journal and has presented at local and regional conferences.

Karina Aparicio, MBA

Karina has more than 15 years of experience in the medical field, including 10 years in leadership. She is highly experienced in both OR and sterile processing environments.
